Job Description

Review and manage MEP designs (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, ELV) at all project stages.
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, interior designers, and external consultants.
Value engineer MEP systems to optimize cost, performance, and sustainability.
Prepare and review technical specifications, BOQs, and tender documents.
Provide technical support during construction and site execution.
Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical RFIs.
Conduct site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and design compliance.
Resolve site technical issues and coordinate design clarifications.
Support cost estimation and budgeting of MEP systems.
Review contractor claims, variations, and change orders related to MEP works.
Monitor MEP progress against approved schedules and milestones.
Supervise testing, commissioning, and balancing of MEP systems.
Ensure all as-built drawings, O&M manuals, warranties, and certificates are completed.
Coordinate MEP handover to FM / operations teams.
Liaise with authorities, utility providers, and civil defense.
Coordinate with tenants for MEP requirements and fit-out guidelines.
Support leasing, mall operations, or facility management teams with technical inputs.
