About the position

Come join us as our new colleague and Senior Network Engineer, you are offered a broad role with varied tasks and responsibilities.

The Senior Network Engineer drives and supports innovation and research through prototyping, customer-like installations and trainings of the IP VPN/encryption product range. He/She is also responsible for validating and ensuring efficiency and interoperability of Asperiq's reference secure network & collaboration solutions (lab and virtual). He/She will participate deployment projects as a subject matter expert (SME) advising and training partner and customer team in the markets.

Ensuring the successful implementation & improvement of Asperiqs security portfolio by professional network engineering at the interfaces of R&D, customer support and product management.

Main responsibilities

• Hands-on validation of Asperiq network solutions, R&D and lab management
• Customer-centric exploration of IP VPN & security features for added value positioning
• Ownership: development, implementation and testing of reference network solutions
• Drive and support internal infrastructure projects and third-party HW/SW evaluations
• Customer project engineering & 3rd level support: from opportunity to market operations
• Liaise with Product Managers, R&D, IT, Operations, Presales and Customer Engineers

Additional task

• Apply creative approaches and innovative thinking to create new customer solutions
• Content creation training and system documentation (all levels)

Your profile

You have an Master degree or comparable education in Computer Science/Information System with relevant field experience of 5 years working within Cyber Security.

You have solid knowhow in IT-Security, Cyber Security, Network Architecture, Routing, Switching (e.g. Professional or Expert Certification e.g. CCNP/CCIE Security, Certified CyberOps Professional) and bring with you proven experience in designing networks and Security Operations Center (SOC), Security Monitoring, Security Information and Event Management (SIAM), IAP/Reverse Proxy, Secure Gateway as well as.

You bring with experience in defining and developing interfaces, 3rd party integrations with APIs, R&D/lab background and able to develop and drive an idea from PoC to market solution. You bring leadership in development, testing, operational readiness and technical support. Are are a self-driven professional with high integrity, customer-first attitude. Being a team player is a must. If you are ready to travel up to 30% and you are high proficiency in spoken and written English the you might be the One.
