Senior Network Security Engineer

Aligned Edges, a leading ICT company specializing in critical infrastructure and cybersecurity systems engineering, is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to take ownership of our complex enterprise network and security infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, configure, and maintain intricate enterprise networks.

- Manage and troubleshoot switching, routing, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, VPNs, and network security.

- Configure and manage enterprise firewalls, including Fortinet FortiGate and Palo Alto Networks.

- Implement network segmentation, security policies, access controls, and secure network architectures.

- Perform advanced troubleshooting, incident response, and root-cause analysis.

- Support network transformation, migration, optimization, and high-availability projects.

- Collaborate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, and IT operations teams.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Networking, or a related field.

- 7+ years of relevant experience in network engineering and security.

- Strong hands-on expertise in switching, routing, and firewalls.

- Experience with Cisco, Aruba/HPE, Fortinet, and Palo Alto Networks technologies.

- A solid understanding of enterprise network architecture and cybersecurity best practices.

- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Certifications:

- Relevant professional certifications are highly desirable, including:

- Cisco

- Avaya

- Aruba

- HPE

- Fortinet

- Palo Alto Networks

Certifications such as CCIE CCNP, CCNP Security, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, or equivalent industry credentials are advantageous.
