Senior Network Security Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Network Security Engineer with expertise in the design and implementation of advanced security solutions. The role focuses on deployment, integration, and optimization projects rather than day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in firewalls, sandboxing, load traffic management (LTM), web application firewalls (WAF), and system integration projects, with hands-on exposure to leading vendors including Fortinet, Palo Alto, F5, and/or Ivanti.

• Design and implement enterprise-grade network security solutions including firewalls, WAFs, LTMs, and sandboxing technologies.

• Lead system integration projects, ensuring seamless compatibility and security across applications, infrastructure, and third-party systems.

• Deploy, configure, and optimize Fortinet, Palo Alto, F5, and Ivanti security solutions in customer or enterprise environments.

• Collaborate with architecture teams to translate business and security requirements into technical designs.

• Conduct proof of concepts (POCs) and solution testing for new security products and technologies.

• Implement secure network architectures, including segmentation, VPNs, SSL/TLS encryption, and high-availability designs.

• Support migration projects, including firewall rule base redesign, policy hardening, and security solution upgrades.

• Provide technical expertise during project delivery, including documentation, knowledge transfer, and post-implementation support.

• Stay up to date with the latest security technologies and recommend improvements for enterprise integration projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.

• 58 years of hands-on experience in network security implementation and system integration.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of network security design and implementation.

• Practical experience with:

  • Firewalls: Fortinet FortiGate, Palo Alto Networks

  • WAF & LTM: F5 BIG-IP (Application Security Manager, Local Traffic Manager)

  • Sandboxing solutions
    

  • Endpoint/system integration security solutions (Ivanti preferred)

• Expertise in implementing VPNs, IPS/IDS, SSL/TLS, high availability, and advanced security architectures.

• Proven experience in system integration projects within the IT/System Integration industry.

Certifications (Preferred)

• Fortinet NSE7

• Cisco CCNP Security (SCOR)
  

• Additional certifications (PCNSE, F5 Certified, CISSP) are an advantage.
