Job description
The role of a Senior Oracle SCM Consultant involves leading the implementation, customization, and optimization of Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules, specifically Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Fusion Applications (ERP Cloud). Key modules include Purchasing, Inventory, iSupplier Portal, Sourcing, Service Procurement, and Procurement Contract. The consultant will work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective SCM solutions. They are responsible for managing the full project lifecycle and providing expert support and troubleshooting for SCM issues.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Oracle SCM modules.
- Analyze business requirements and provide effective SCM solutions.
- Customize and optimize Oracle SCM applications for enhanced performance.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend system enhancements.
- Provide expert-level support and troubleshoot Oracle SCM issues.
Experience and Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of experience in Oracle SCM consulting with at least 3 full-cycle implementations.
- Strong experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and SCM modules.
- Hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Applications (ERP Cloud) with focus on SCM and related modules.
- Proven success in Oracle SCM projects across various industries, with preference for those involving government sector projects.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Expertise in SCM processes like demand planning, procurement, and inventory management.
