Role Description

South Westman is seeking a full-time Senior Planning Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team on-site in Cairo, Egypt. The role involves planning and overseeing civil engineering projects, developing efficient construction schedules, and ensuring compliance with project specifications. Daily tasks include analyzing building plans, coordinating project activities, managing resources, facilitating stormwater management solutions, and maintaining quality and safety standards throughout project execution. The role requires close collaboration with architects, consultants, and project teams.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Civil Engineering Design and broad knowledge applicable to civil engineering projects.
• Proven experience in Planning and executing complex construction workflows.
• In-depth understanding and knowledge of Stormwater Management and related sustainability practices.
• Experience and proficiency working as a Civil Engineer in high-level construction projects.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in construction-related software and tools; including scheduling software.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
• Previous experience in high-end or complex construction projects in the Middle East will be an advantage.
