Senior Planning Engineer

At Arabian Construction Company (ACC), our projects shape skylines, communities, and regions. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning Engineer to assist in the planning and scheduling of large-scale construction projects across UAE, KSA, and the Middle East. The job holder may be required to work on assignments outside Egypt, offering the opportunity to contribute to ACC's international portfolio of projects. This position requires technical and contractual communications, as well as proficiency in English. What You'll Achieve

Project Planning and Scheduling

• Assist in the development, monitoring, and updating of project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Office, ensuring alignment with project milestones and deadlines.
• Collaborate with site teams, project managers, and other departments to ensure smooth execution of construction activities.
• Provide work breakdown structures (WBS), sequence of activities, and critical path analysis to support the project team.

Site Coordination and Department Collaboration

• Prepare and deliver regular updates on site progress, engaging with all related departments to ensure effective collaboration and coordination.
• Assist in resolving scheduling conflicts and support the site team in addressing any issues affecting the project timeline.

Progress Monitoring and Reporting

• Ensure timely submission of weekly, monthly, and quarterly progress reports, tracking performance against planned schedules.
• Work with project teams to maintain detailed documentation of progress and provide accurate forecasting of project completion dates.

Resource Management and Optimization

• Assist in identifying and forecasting resource requirements (labor, materials, equipment) to meet project needs and deadlines.
• Work closely with procurement teams to ensure the timely availability of resources.

Risk Management and Adjustments

• Identify potential scheduling risks and support the implementation of mitigation strategies to prevent delays.
• Adjust project timelines based on changing site conditions or scope variations to maintain project continuity.

International Assignments and Mobility

• Be prepared to work on-site at projects in KSA, UAE depending on the needs of the company's expanding international portfolio.
• Coordinate with international project teams to ensure seamless integration and adherence to project schedules.

What You'll Bring to ACC

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil background preferred).
• 6 years of experience in planning and scheduling.
• Expertise in Primavera P6, MS Office, and other planning tools.
• Proficiency in English for effective communication.
• Strong analytical skills to manage complex schedules and propose solutions to scheduling challenges.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
