Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Planning Engineer located in Qesm 1st 6 October. The Senior Planning Engineer will oversee project planning and scheduling, establish and maintain project timelines, and monitor ongoing progress to ensure timely completion. They will ensure all project milestones are met, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and address challenges through robust planning and problem-solving strategies. The role also involves evaluating project performance and preparing reports to communicate project status to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Planning and Production Planning tasks, with the ability to develop and manage comprehensive project schedules.
• Proficient in Analytical Skills to assess project performance, identify potential risks, and recommend solutions effectively.
• Experience in Project Control methodologies for scope, cost, and timeline management to optimize project efficiency.
• Excellent Communication skills to successfully coordinate with cross-functional teams and effectively report to stakeholders.
• Proficiency in related planning tools/software and a strong understanding of construction or engineering project lifecycles.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a relevant field is required.
• At least 5-7 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within construction or engineering consultancy sectors.
• Advanced knowledge of scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project is highly advantageous.
