HUCON is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Planning Engineer to lead planning and project controls functions across its ongoing construction projects, ensuring full visibility on schedule performance, cash flow, and project delivery.

Key responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, including proper logic, resource loading, and cost loading

Prepare and manage project cash flow forecasts, and continuously monitor actual vs planned performance

Generate weekly and monthly lookahead schedules, and actively follow up with site, procurement, and subcontractors to ensure alignment and timely execution

Monitor project progress, track critical activities, identify delays, and drive recovery actions

Prepare periodic progress reports, including S-curves, manpower histograms, productivity analysis, and schedule variance reports

Develop and track planning and project control KPIs, providing clear insight into project health and performance

Lead planning coordination with project teams to ensure alignment between construction, procurement, and project milestones

Prepare and contribute to Extension of Time (EOT) claims, delay analysis, and contractual planning submissions

Ensure accurate progress measurement and reliable forecasting of completion dates and project outcomes

Requirements

4 to 7 years of experience in planning and project controls within reputable construction companies

Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential

Proven experience in cash flow preparation, lookahead planning, and performance monitoring

Strong experience in EOT claims preparation, delay analysis, and project controls practices

Solid understanding of construction methodology and sequencing

Strong analytical, reporting, and follow-up skills

Excellent communication and coordination abilities

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil preferred)
