As a Senior Planning Engineer, you will play a key role in managing and controlling project schedules within our construction projects. You'll be responsible for developing detailed work programs, monitoring progress, identifying risks, and ensuring that all activities are executed in line with project timelines and budgets. Your expertise in planning and scheduling will support project teams, optimize resource allocation, and drive successful project delivery from initiation to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare time schedule baselines fully loaded resources material and manpower.
- Present an annual forecast revenue report for the company to the management and update it quarterly according to actual projects progress.
- Follow up periodically on the shop-drawing, procurement, and the construction activity (in terms of planned versus actual time and cost) to ensure proper project execution within the planned timeframe.
- Evaluate the time schedule status on monthly basis across all projects with any delays or changes reflecting its impact on planned time and cost.
- Track main materials delivery and prepare monthly look ahead.
- Review, daily, weekly, and monthly reports as pertaining to the time aspect of the project as well as monitor any updates and changes made to the baseline.
- Study time impact analysis for claims.
- Attend progress meetings internally and with clients & consultants.
- Prepare required presentations needed for top management meetings.
- Monitoring subcontractors on weekly basis regarding progress, material delivery and manpower.
- Guide and consult with subordinates and PM to confirm appropriate project implementation and stay updated of any changes.
- Monitor and control the projects progresses in respect to the planned activities and progress, cooperatively with subordinates.
- Analyze and solve any issues that pertain to the time plan to perform course recovery and ensure that the plan is being followed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in civil or architectural engineering.
- 4+Years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience in Primavera
- Certified Cost Professional (CCP) is a plus.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.
