JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE
To review Tenders/Bidding proposals scope, produce Tender/Bid Proposal plans and schedules, estimate resources (manpower, man-hours, trade disciplines, equipment), produce histograms and S-curves, prepare costs and budgets, analyze potential delays, implement corrective actions, and prepare planning and schedule reports and risk registers.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Proposal & Planning Management
- Review tender documents and develop comprehensive bid proposals, plans, and schedules.
- Estimate project resources including manpower, man-hours, trade disciplines, and equipment requirements.
- Prepare histograms, S-curves, and cost/budget projections for proposals.
- Analyze potential project delays and implement corrective action plans.
- Prepare planning and schedule reports and maintain risk registers.
Project Scheduling & Coordination
- Develop, maintain, and manage project plans and detailed schedules using Primavera-P6.
- Ensure all planning activities comply with industry standards and company procedures.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project timelines are met.
- Provide regular updates and reports on project status to senior management.
- Report on the effect of changes, especially any negative impacts, to management.
Engagement
- Attend all company planning meetings and client planning meetings as directed.
- Prepare pre-bid and post-bid clarifications and responses.
- Operate and encourage a team working environment with colleagues and client personnel.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate files of planning data both in hard copy and in software/programs including Primavera-P6, MS Project, Excel, and Word.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and relevant quality, health, safety, security, and environmental procedures and controls.
- Guarantee employee safety and delivery of high-quality products/services through adherence to standards.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
Experience:
- Total Experience: 1518 years of experience in EPC / Oil & Gas with Proposal focus
- Offshore Experience: Minimum 35 years in offshore projects (MANDATORY)
Technical Skills:
- Expert proficiency in Primavera-P6
- Strong knowledge of MS Project, Excel, and Word
- Extensive experience in tender/bid proposals and planning
- Resource estimation and cost/budget preparation
- Risk assessment and register maintenance
Languages:
- Proficient in English (written and spoken)
