Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to oversee production planning, scheduling, and material coordination within a food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate must have strong analytical skills, hands-on planning experience, and a solid background in food industries.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage detailed production plans in alignment with sales forecasts and capacity.
- Prepare short-term and long-term production schedules.
- Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, and Quality teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor production progress and adjust plans based on actual performance.
- Ensure optimal utilization of resources (materials, manpower, machines).
- Analyze production KPIs and provide regular reports to management.
- Manage material requirements planning (MRP) to avoid shortages or overstock.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency.
Job Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Production / Industrial / Mechanical or equivalent).
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in food manufacturing industries.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and MRP.
- Experience working in factories and manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in Excel and planning systems (experience with ERP systems is a plus).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills- Experience in FMCG or food & beverage manufacturing.
- Strong reporting and data analysis skills.
- Team player with a problem-solving mindset.
