Position Overview
Responsible for planning and overseeing the full program of works, monitoring progress, and maintaining a constraints register to ensure successful project delivery within time and budget.
Core Job Functions
- Develop and maintain the baseline project program using appropriate planning techniques and logical sequencing in coordination with the Project Manager.
- Prepare labour resource loading schedules within budget and coordinate with quantity teams to establish material requirements (phase-wise, area-wise, floor-wise).
- Define engineering deliverables including drawings, materials, and method statements aligned with the project schedule and establish KPIs for monitoring.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure alignment on timelines and deliverables.
- Track procurement and delivery of long-lead materials and highlight priorities.
- Prepare and update short-term (3-week) and medium-term (3-month) look-ahead schedules.
- Perform risk and probabilistic analysis on project timelines and identify potential deviations.
- Monitor planned vs. actual progress and highlight delays, constraints, and corrective actions.
- Record and analyze project efficiencies, delays, and performance metrics.
Selection Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or a relevant field.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in planning and project execution.
