We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power Data Modeler to join our dynamic team for our banking client. The ideal candidate will possess
8+ years of experience in data modeling, with strong proficiency in Power BI and Data Analysis Expressions (DAX). This role requires a keen analytical mind, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for transforming complex data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Modeling: Design and develop robust data models using Microsoft Power BI and other relevant tools
- DAX Development: Create and optimize Power Queries, DAX expressions to enhance data models and reports
- Data Integration: Integrate various data sources, ensuring data consistency and accuracy
- Reporting: Develop interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports to support business decision-making
- Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide tailored solutions
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data models, DAX formulas, and reporting processes
- Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning
Qualifications
- Experience: 8 years of experience in data modeling and analysis
- Proficiency in Data modelling, Power Query, DAX and Power BI
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in Power BI or data analytics are a plus
