Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing & Prequalification: Find and vet reliable suppliers and subcontractors for civil works (concrete, steel, finishes).
- Tendering & Evaluation: Prepare RFQs, analyze technical/commercial bids, and build comparative statements.
- Negotiation & Contracting: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to optimize project costs.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, planning engineers, and site teams to avoid project delays.
- Value Engineering: Support cost-saving initiatives and alternative material proposals without sacrificing quality.
Key Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: 8-12 years of total construction procurement experience, with regional market expertise.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of civil building materials, drawings, BOQs, and local industry standards.
- Software Proficiency: Strong skills in MS Office (Excel) and familiarity with ERP systems or Oracle/SAP.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional commercial awareness, communication, and vendor negotiation skills
