Job Title: Senior Procurement Engineer

Scope: Steel Fabrication Factory.

Department: Procurement Dept.

Job Location: Ain Sokhna Plant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete procurement cycle from sourcing to purchase order closure.
• Coordinate with production, engineering, maintenance, and logistics teams to identify procurement requirements.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on technical, commercial, and quality criteria.
• Prepare RFQs, analyze quotations, negotiate pricing, and recommend suppliers.
• Procure steel sheets, flat steel products, fabrication consumables, spare parts, and industrial services.
• Monitor steel market trends, pricing indices, and supplier performance to optimize procurement costs.
• Issue and follow up on purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery aligned with production schedules.
• Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and procurement reports.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, contracts, and applicable regulations.
• Support supplier performance management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements:

Educational Background:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

Language: Fluent English Speaker.

Gender:

Computer Skills:

• Microsoft Office.
• ERP Systems (Oracle is preferred).

Experience:

• Related Field Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or supply chain within steel fabrication, metal manufacturing, or industrial environments.
• Preferred Skills:
• Procurement & strategic sourcing.
• Supplier evaluation and vendor management.
• RFQ preparation and commercial negotiations.
• Knowledge of steel sheet specifications and fabrication materials.
• Cost optimization and procurement planning.
• Understanding of steel commodity markets and pricing.
• Contract management.
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
