Duties & Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess qualified suppliers and vendors for the procurement of construction and commissioning materials and services.
- Engage with both new and existing suppliers to negotiate terms that are favorable to the organization.
- Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs), ensuring diligent follow-up on responses.
- Conduct technical and commercial evaluations in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide daily updates to the Procurement Manager regarding the status of procurement activities and any potential delays.
- Draft, review, and negotiate Contracts and Purchase Orders, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and industry standards.
- Monitor and expedite supplier deliveries to ensure adherence to project timelines.
- Recommend and implement new systems or processes aimed at enhancing procurement efficiency.
- Demonstrate strong negotiation, analytical, communication, and procurement management skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- +5 years of procurement experience in the Oil/Gas and Petrochemicals field. Foreign procurement and logistics.
- Construction Background is a plus.
