Senior Procurement Engineer

As a Senior Procurement Engineer specializing in civil functions, you will be the critical link between project technical requirements and the supply chain. You will leverage your civil engineering expertise to manage the end-to-end procurement of all civil-related materials, equipment, and subcontractor services. Your role ensures that all procured items are technically compliant, cost-effective, and delivered on schedule, directly supporting project quality, budget adherence, and timely execution. By conducting technical evaluations, managing supplier relationships, and mitigating supply chain risks, you will secure the essential resources for the successful delivery of our UAE construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts and their extracted comparisons to validate the quality of decisions taken and provide guidance accordingly.
• Proactively Identify Relevant vendors for new projects to be able to choose the most suitable.
• Discuss the proposed project strategy with the management.
• Solve any technical, project related issues with vendors to ensure proper flow to the projects.
• Create monthly and quarterly reports to be presented to the management.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the project management to reactively & precatively manage all the procurement related challenges.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil / architecture engineering.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
• Professional certification (e.g., CIPS, PMP, or CSCP).
