The Senior Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing the procurement process, sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality and compliance with company policies. Role Description
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes including sourcing, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contracting.
- Identify reliable suppliers and vendors while maintaining strong relationships to ensure consistent supply and service quality.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to achieve cost savings and improve procurement efficiency.
- Lead supplier negotiations to secure favorable terms, pricing, and service agreements.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Monitor supplier performance and manage vendor risk and performance reviews.
- Prepare procurement reports, budgets, and cost analysis for management review.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- 4:6 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier management skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and procurement software.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong knowledge of procurement best practices and market analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
