We're Hiring: Senior Procurement Specialist
We are expanding our Procurement team and looking for experienced professionals to support multiple strategic categories across infrastructure, operations, and corporate services.
Categories in Scope:
- Permanent Way & Reliability: Track, civil infrastructure, yellow plant, asset reliability & maintenance, logistics.
- Systems, Facilities & Operations: Signalling, telecom, power systems, depots, network operations, service design.
- Freight Operations & Maintenance: Terminals, rolling stock maintenance, heavy equipment, freight asset performance.
- Mobility & Passenger Services: Stations, passenger trains, ticketing, AFC systems, onboard services, mobility support.
- Corporate Operations & Services: HR, training, HSEQ, admin, insurance, finance, legal.
Role Overview:
As a Senior Procurement Specialist, you will lead complex sourcing initiatives, execute category strategies, and drive supplier performance, cost optimization, and risk management. You will also deliver procurement analytics and insights, support process improvements, and act as a delegate to the Procurement Manager when required.
What We're Looking For:
- 10+ years of procurement experience in infrastructure, rail, facilities, corporate services, or related sectors.
- Proven experience managing high-value, complex contracts within one or more of the above categories.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or similar) or Supply Chain Management, with relevance to systems, infrastructure, or industrial procurement.
- Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and risk mitigation.
- CIPS/MCIPS, CPSM, or equivalent certification preferred.
