We are currently looking for a Senior Product Analyst to join our team.
The role will be reporting to a Product Manager.
Location: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia
Responsibilities
- Capture, clarify and translate customer needs into actionable product requirements that reduce ambiguity and improve delivery readiness.
- Own and maintain the Scrum team backlog, ensuring priorities, user stories and acceptance criteria are clear, current and ready for sprint planning.
- Define functional and integration requirements that support customer outcomes, operational efficiency and product roadmap objectives.
- Analyze requirements and recommend scalable solutions that balance business value, technical feasibility and long-term maintainability.
- Own assigned business domain modules, aligning stakeholders on documented solutions that support consistent implementation and reuse.
- Lead delivery activities from inception to go-live, coordinating analysts, developers and stakeholders to support on-time, quality releases.
- Mentor business analysts and development teams to improve Agile delivery practices, requirement quality and solution consistency.
- Prepare and maintain functional specifications, solution documentation and support materials that enable stakeholder approval and efficient development.
- Define test scenarios, validate delivered functionality and provide business acceptance to improve release quality and reduce defects.
- Create workflows, interface designs and mock-ups that accelerate solution validation and improve user understanding.
- Investigate operational incidents and defects, identify root causes and support corrective actions to improve system stability.
- Build and maintain test libraries that strengthen manual and automated regression coverage.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience of working on Air Cargo management systems and expert level knowledge in the domain the Air Cargo workflow (sales/operations)
- Knowledge of industry inter-system message formats, rules and applications
- Excellent written and oral communications skills in English
- Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases and reporting applications
- Knowledge of all common PC software
- Knowledge of external interfacing systems
- Systematic approach to handling problems under pressure as part of a small team.
- Knowledge in user experience (UX)
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of integration testing of APIs using tools like Swagger, Postman.
- Knowledge of creation of API documentation using YAML specifications.
- Creatively analytical, out of the box thinkers who can backup ideas their ideas with research
- Team players who are comfortable collaborating with graphic designers, web architects and the clients themselves
- Knowledge in prototyping use of any wire framing tool. Experience in using any wire framing tools such as Invision, Marvel, Proto.io, Framer, Axure.
- Knowledge and experience in Agile software development, Scrum methodology and user story creation.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Management
- Has sound experience in functional analysis and support of systems
- 5 to 7 years of experience working in the Air Cargo domain.
