Senior Product Designer

Location: Dubai or Abu Dhabi (Full Onsite)

Duration: Initial 9-month contract, subject to extension

Employment Setup: Independent Contractor / Freelance

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end UX/UI design process across web and mobile products.
• Translate business requirements and customer needs into user-centric design solutions.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• Conduct user research and apply usability testing insights.
• Work closely with cross-functional Agile squads throughout the product lifecycle.
• Contribute to and maintain design systems and UI standards.
• Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and leadership teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience designing complex digital products for web and mobile platforms.
• Previous experience within the banking or financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and design thinking methodologies.
• Proficiency with industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience designing digital banking, fintech, or enterprise platforms.
• Familiarity with design systems and accessibility standards.
• Exposure to SME or corporate banking customer journeys.
