Senior Product Owner - Mobile Banking Marketplace

What You'll Build
You'll join a boutique strategic design and technology consultancy and embedded full-time, onsite at one of Saudi Arabia's leading banks in Riyadh. This is how the agency operates: their specialists work inside client environments as trusted extensions of the client team, not arms-length suppliers. The bank they're placing you into has been a flagship client relationship for years.
The bank is launching a marketplace inside its mobile banking application. The product is new, the build is greenfield, and the specifics are commercially sensitive and shared once you're selected. You'll own the product lifecycle end-to-end: vision, roadmap, commercial partnerships, and delivery. C-suite visibility from day one.
This role sits outside a typical product brief. Beyond the standard PO remit you'll be identifying and negotiating with third-party merchants and service providers to populate the marketplace. You're partly a product leader, partly building something that doesn't exist yet.
What You'll Focus On
- Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the marketplace from the ground up
- Build ROI cases and business justifications for every prioritisation decision; you're the one presenting to the CFO
- Proactively identify, approach, and negotiate with third-party suppliers, merchants, and service providers to build out the marketplace ecosystem
- Translate vision into detailed requirements with Design and Engineering, from user story to shipped feature
- Define and track the success metrics for the marketplace and own them
- Present roadmaps, proposals, and performance results directly to C-suite bank leadership
Who You Are
- 7+ years in product management with a substantial track record in financial services (retail or corporate banking)
- 7+ years on mobile products, ideally with marketplace or e-commerce context
- Commercially sharp: you've built supplier relationships, run negotiations, and written business cases that got funded
- Confident presenter at every level, from engineering standup to boardroom; you adjust and you land it
- A track record of shipped products with measurable outcomes. Not just roadmaps. Real things in users hands.
- Proficient in Jira, Figma, Miro, and AI workflows
- Comfortable in ambiguity. This product is new. The brief will move. That is the role.
Stands out if you have:
- Arabic language proficiency
- GCC or KSA market experience
- Background working in or alongside a consultancy or embedded advisory model
- SAMA or CPF regulatory exposure
