Senior Production Engineer

Job Purpose:

Assure that production lines are running smoothly and efficiently. They work closely with supervisors and maintenance staff to plan work, set targets and make sure the finished products meet quality standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive the production plan monthly from the planning department and set relevant production workflow

• Receive the shop drawing and communicate / lead manufacturing processes with supervisors

• Receives the weakly machine loading plan and the approved designs and sketches to start the production process

• Request materials from inventory according to job order specs

• Assure the implementation of the production according to the process of the workflow

• Follow up achievement of quality standards and resolve any observations from quality team

• Prepare a daily production report to be approved by the production manager to be sent to the production planning department

• Troubleshoot any production issues and resolve with concerned team

• Align with projects, planning and quality team the progress of production plans

• Provide technical assistance to production supervisors and technicians as and when required.

• Check the machines checklist to assure that the working conditions are safe.

• Ensure that staff are compliant with safety regulations

• Maintain efficient production logs in compliance with applied management system

Qualifications & Education:

Education: B.Sc. of Engineering

Years of Experience: 3-7 years.

Language: Arabic & English

Computer skills: Microsoft Office
