Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Beni Suef for a Senior Production Manager. The Senior Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing production operations to ensure efficiency and quality. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing production plans, managing resources, analyzing and improving manufacturing processes, maintaining safety and compliance standards, and leading production teams to meet targets. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth processes and alignment with company goals:

  • Report to the factory manager for activities and results of production activities and all production statistics.
  • Manage day-to-day work and transactions related to the production department and his team.
  • Ensure that manufacturing processes run reliably and efficiently.
  • Plan and organize production schedules.
  • Determine quality standards for the production team and production process.
  • Oversee production processes.
  • Communicate regularly with management regarding problems or issues impacting production.
  • Establish a balance between increased productivity and reduced costs of manufacturing operations.
  • Work on product waste reduction to ensure no waste or minimal waste.
  • Set productivity goals for each manufacturing team.
  • Develop workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality.
  • Organize relevant training sessions.
  • Manage the entire product line cycle.
  • Utilize resources (materials, machines, consumables, and manpower) efficiently to maximize the output.
  • Coordinate strategic entire production activities for the smooth conduct of the processes with minimum downtime.
  • Make decisions about implementation and adjustment of the production schedule.
  • Motivate, support, and provide guidance to production staff.
  • Implement systems of production tracking and quality control.

Qualifications

  • An engineering bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Min 5-8 years of experience in a manufacturing firm, cement or chemicals are preferable.
  • Effective interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead a large team.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of manufacturing operations.
  • Effective time management skills.
  • Ability to set priorities for self and others.
  • Very good command of English.
