EgyCham is hiring Senior Production Manager for one of our clients in Food and Beverage Manufacturing.
Role Description
- Lead and manage end-to-end production operations for edible oil and olive processing, including cleaning, crushing, extraction, refining, and packaging
- Ensure optimal operation of olive oil extraction lines (cold press / mechanical extraction) to maintain product quality and yield efficiency
- Monitor and control all production parameters (temperature, pressure, filtration, refining stages) to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Optimize production planning to align with raw material availability (olive seasons, oil inputs) and demand forecasts
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance yield, reduce waste, and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety standards (HACCP, ISO) and regulatory compliance across all production stages
- Collaborate with quality team to ensure final product meets required specifications (acidity, purity, taste, and color standards)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Food Technology or any related field.
- From 10 to 15 years of experience in production, at least 3 years of experience in food manufacturing, with a strong focus on edible oil and olive processing is a must.
- Proven hands-on experience in olive oil extraction processes (cold press, centrifugation, filtration) and/or edible oil refining operations is a strong plus.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, process optimization, and lean manufacturing principles
- In-depth understanding of food safety standards (HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP).
- Strong technical knowledge of oil processing equipment, extraction lines, and refining systems
- Demonstrated ability to improve yield, reduce waste, and control production costs.
