Job Description Summary

Lead and support project development and execution activities under BHIG's Project Portfolio Organization, ensuring alignment with HSSEQ standards, cost, schedule, and quality objectives. The role includes direct oversight of EPC and construction contractors and proactive management of customer expectations to deliver projects successfully.

Key Responsibilities

Engineering & Execution Management

  • Manage engineering deliverables from concept through execution.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary reviews and ensure compliance with BHIG and applicable standards.

Customer Expectation Management

  • Engage with customers and stakeholders to clarify requirements and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide transparent progress updates and promptly resolve concerns.

Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Oversee RFQs, bid evaluations, and technical clarifications for project equipment and services.

Construction Contractor Oversight

  • Serve as the primary interface with EPC and construction contractors during site execution.
  • Monitor contractor performance against contractual obligations, schedule, and quality benchmarks.
  • Enforce HSSEQ compliance and conduct regular safety walks and audits.
  • Review and approve contractor work plans, method statements, and risk assessments.

Progress Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track progress, resolve technical and execution issues, and escalate risks promptly.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on engineering, procurement, and construction status for leadership.

Risk & Change Management

  • Lead risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.
  • Manage change requests and ensure alignment with project governance.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering discipline.
  • Experience: 8+ years in project engineering within oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
  • Technical Skills: Strong familiarity with EPC execution practices in oil & gas, specifically with Saudi Aramco standards.
  • Certifications: PMP or equivalent preferred.

Working Conditions

  • Site-based in Jubail (BHIG and customer sites) with occasional travel.
  • Contractor role.
