Job Summary:

The Senior Project Engineer plays a critical technical leadership role in the delivery of modular pod projects across the UAE and KSA. Acting as the key technical link between engineering, factory operations, procurement, logistics, and site installation, the Senior Project Engineer ensures that all technical requirements are met, all design issues are resolved, and all production and site activities are supported efficiently from concept through handover.

Working closely with the Project Management team, the Senior Project Engineer drives technical coordination, oversees detailed engineering work, manages submittals and approvals, and ensures compliance with quality standards and project specifications. The ideal candidate is technically strong, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple complex workflows simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead technical coordination for multiple modular pod projects across the UAE and KSA, ensuring engineering accuracy and full compliance with project specifications.

Review, validate, and manage shop drawings, technical submissions, material submittals, method statements, and O&M manuals.

Act as the primary technical point of contact for internal teams, consultants, clients, and subcontractors.

Support the Project Manager by identifying technical risks, proposing solutions, and supervising the resolution of engineering or site-related issues.

Coordinate closely with the factory team to ensure production aligns with approved drawings, specifications, and finish standards.

Oversee site technical support, participate in inspections, ensure correct installation processes, and manage snag item resolution.

Ensure all technical and regulatory approvals are secured on time in both UAE and KSA.

Monitor project schedules, material readiness, and design milestones; highlight potential delays and variations proactively.

Maintain and update technical logs, engineering tracking sheets, and progress reports for senior management.

Ensure all materials and systems comply with premium fit-out standards and quality benchmarks.

Collaborate with procurement and vendors to verify technical compliance of materials and equipment.

Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support teams.

Attend coordination meetings, site visits, and factory progress inspections across both countries; willingness to travel frequently to KSA as required

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field; knowledge of interior design or luxury finishes is preferred.
  • 1012 years of experience in project engineering, technical coordination, or engineering management within modular construction, high-end fit-out, hospitality, or luxury residential environments.
  • Strong technical understanding of materials, premium finishes, building systems, and detailed execution requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple engineering workflows simultaneously with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate across clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in project planning and engineering tools; experience with BIM and digital coordination platforms is an advantage.
  • PMP certification is beneficial; technical construction certifications or BIM credentials are a plus.
