Job Summary
The Senior Project Engineer – Instrument is responsible for leading instrumentation design, planning, and execution activities across projects. The role ensures technical accuracy, compliance with standards, effective coordination with stakeholders, and timely completion of instrumentation works at site.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead instrumentation design, engineering, and project execution activities.
- Review instrument datasheets, P&IDs, layouts, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, clients, contractors, and vendors.
- Monitor site activities, resolve technical issues, and ensure timely installation and commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry codes, and safety standards.
- Support procurement through technical evaluations and vendor document reviews.
- Prepare project reports, documentation, and progress updates.
- Conduct inspections, testing, and validation of instrumentation systems.
Mandatory Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics, or related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in instrumentation engineering or project execution.
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation design, control systems, and field instrumentation.
- Experience in EPC, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or industrial automation projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and instrumentation tools/software.
