The Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to be based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The selected talent will lead a project from the concept stage to the operational handover stage to deliver the project/s to the satisfaction of Clients and Compass Partners, within budget, within the programme, by the brief, and in accordance with authority requirements. The focus for this role will be the construction of a landmark hotel/resort project.

Key Responsibilities

• Defining project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
• Planning and scheduling project timelines and milestones.
• Allocating resources and managing project budget.
• Leading and motivating project team members.
• Monitoring project progress and ensuring deadlines are met.
• Identifying and managing project risks and issues.
• Communicating with stakeholders and keeping them informed of project updates.
• Adhering to project management methodologies and best practices.
• Resolving conflicts and making decisions to keep the project on track.
• Evaluating project outcomes and conducting post-project reviews for lessons learned.

Qualifications & Experience

• An Engineering or Construction-related degree is required.
• Strong Project Management skills and technical expertise with minimum experience of 12+ years.
• PMP certification will be highly regarded.
• Essential UAE PM experience overseeing the design, procurement, and construction of hotels, resorts, and high-end development projects is required.
• Proven expertise in managing projects across both pre-contract (concept/design/procurement) and post-contract (construction/handover) phases.
• A strong professional background with a mix of experience from a Project Management Consultancy and Contractor environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and the ability to communicate and articulate information with senior stakeholders clearly and effectively.
