Ensure the portfolio of strategic Omni Channel projects of Al Tayer Insignia are properly planned, executed, and delivered within their expected timelines and budget projections, effectively meeting their objectives and targets in line with the company goals.



Strategic Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day execution, project planning and delivery of Insignia-wide projects that affect multiple departments within the organization


Functional Roles and Responsibilities

  • Define the project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical, business and resource feasibility;
  • Drive scheduling / project timelines, requirements gathering sessions, issue resolutions, and full scope definition for end-to-end projects;
  • Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives across multiple business disciplines
  • Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for several major initiatives simultaneously
  • Develop project control and reporting procedures; evaluate project performance
  • Understand interdependency between technology, operations and business needs
  • Act as an internal quality controller of the project
  • Manage changes in the operational plan and develop contingency plan
  • Understand underlying system technologies that are being delivered in the project and impact to integrated systems;
  • Ensure that a risk management plan is in place so that risks and blockers threatening the successful delivery of projects are identified, documented, analyzed and appropriate responses planned so as to mitigate risks and drive issues to resolution;
  • Collaborate with Al Tayer Group Procurement Office in the selection of Consultants/Contractors/Suppliers and ensure execution of projects involving external resources within agreed timelines, release plans, payment milestones and cost principles;
  • Review and monitor cost projections and ongoing costs of projects, including determining the format of various costs reports and risk definition management for budget overspend vs. benchmarks;
  • Coordinate with external vendors and internal technical and legal teams to manage relationships and contractual agreements;
  • Lead, manage, guide, and motivate people engaged in the project to work to their best capabilities and promote smooth working relations within the teams to achieve business results effectively;
  • Work alongside Al Tayer Group Legal Office to ensure that all contracts/ agreements with Consultants/Contractors/Suppliers are agreed, finalized and signed off before commencement of work, to avoid any legal dispute/claims post execution.
  • Manage stakeholder updates and relevant project communications, including weekly review meetings of the portfolio of projects. Identify all the stakeholders and their needs, determine appropriate format, method & frequency of communication and ensure that an escalation process to higher management is in place and carried out where needed
