Job Description

Lead and deliver complex projects in industrial and factory environments, overseeing all phases from planning through completion. This role requires a mechanical engineering background combined with extensive construction leadership experience to drive successful project outcomes and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full project lifecycle including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout for industrial facilities
  • Develop comprehensive project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Lead site supervision and ensure strict compliance with specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements
  • Direct and mentor project teams including Assistant Project Managers, site engineers, and coordinators
  • Manage contractor and vendor relationships, negotiating terms and resolving complex issues
  • Oversee procurement processes, cost control, and financial reporting to ensure budget adherence
  • Chair project meetings with clients, stakeholders, and construction teams to maintain alignment
  • Identify, assess, and resolve critical project risks and escalate strategic decisions to senior leadership
  • Ensure comprehensive project documentation and maintain rigorous change management processes
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to business development efforts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 15+ years of project management experience in construction or industrial sectors required
  • Extensive experience managing industrial or factory projects highly desirable
  • Proven track record delivering large-scale, complex projects on time and within budget
  • Deep understanding of construction methods, mechanical systems, and industrial installations
  • Expert-level ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities
  • PMP or similar project management certification preferred
  • Proficiency with project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office suite
  • Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
