Lead and deliver complex projects in industrial and factory environments, overseeing all phases from planning through completion. This role requires a mechanical engineering background combined with extensive construction leadership experience to drive successful project outcomes and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full project lifecycle including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout for industrial facilities
- Develop comprehensive project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies
- Lead site supervision and ensure strict compliance with specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements
- Direct and mentor project teams including Assistant Project Managers, site engineers, and coordinators
- Manage contractor and vendor relationships, negotiating terms and resolving complex issues
- Oversee procurement processes, cost control, and financial reporting to ensure budget adherence
- Chair project meetings with clients, stakeholders, and construction teams to maintain alignment
- Identify, assess, and resolve critical project risks and escalate strategic decisions to senior leadership
- Ensure comprehensive project documentation and maintain rigorous change management processes
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to business development efforts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 15+ years of project management experience in construction or industrial sectors required
- Extensive experience managing industrial or factory projects highly desirable
- Proven track record delivering large-scale, complex projects on time and within budget
- Deep understanding of construction methods, mechanical systems, and industrial installations
- Expert-level ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities
- PMP or similar project management certification preferred
- Proficiency with project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office suite
- Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
