The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a large-scale, complex enterprise transformation programme. This is a pivotal role requiring someone who can orchestrate multiple workstreams, manage diverse stakeholder groups, and drive successful outcomes in a fast-paced, technically sophisticated environment.

You will be responsible for end-to-end programme delivery, managing both internal delivery teams and external stakeholders while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Programme & Delivery Management

Lead and manage large-scale, complex enterprise projects from initiation through to successful closure

Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, milestones, and budgets

Manage project scope, timelines, and resources effectively to ensure successful delivery outcomes

Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, ensuring adherence to best practices and methodologies.

Stakeholder & Client Management

Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, building strong, trusted relationships

Lead weekly project cadence meetings and provide regular status updates to all stakeholders

Chair and facilitate Steering Committee meetings, presenting progress, risks, and key decisions

Manage client expectations and ensure alignment between business objectives and project outcomes

Team Leadership

Lead and coordinate cross-functional delivery teams of 20+ members, including technical specialists, consultants, and third-party resources

Foster a collaborative team environment that drives engagement, accountability, and high performance

Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members throughout the project lifecycle

Risk & Issue Management

Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, and decisions (RAIDD)

Implement effective mitigation strategies and escalation procedures

Maintain comprehensive RAIDD logs and ensure timely resolution of issues

Essential Requirements

Minimum 5 years of proven experience managing large-scale, complex IT/technology delivery projects

Mandatory experience in data migration projects, with a strong understanding of migration methodologies, risks, and best practices

Technical familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud platform and associated services

Working knowledge of SAP technology stack and enterprise application landscapes

Demonstrated experience managing teams of 20+ people across multiple disciplines

Strong understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks

Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience engaging at C-suite and senior leadership levels

Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively

Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining team cohesion

Desirable Requirements

Prince2 Practitioner or PMP certification (or equivalent professional PM qualification)

Previous experience delivering projects within the manufacturing sector is an added advantage.

Experience with enterprise-scale cloud migrations and transformation programmes.

Familiarity with Agile, hybrid, or other complementary delivery methodologies

Knowledge of data warehouse/business intelligence platforms

Experience with milestone, commercial and contract management
