Position Objective:
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering power-related projects in coordination with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC), with a primary focus on CPC connections and power upgrade works. The role ensures compliance with SEC standards, project timelines, cost, and quality requirements
Job Description & Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end delivery of SEC power projects, including CPC connections and power upgrades.
- Coordinate with SEC, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are delivered within approved scope, schedule, and budget.
- Oversee power design reviews, load calculations, and technical submissions.
- Manage SEC approvals, site inspections, and energization processes.
- Ensure compliance with SEC standards, regulations, and safety requirements.
- Manage contractors performance, schedules, and deliverables.
- Review and approve contractor work progress, invoices, and variations.
- Resolve technical, commercial, and coordination issues related to power works.
- Track project progress and report KPIs, risks, and issues to management.
- Ensure proper documentation, As-Built drawings, and project close-out.
- Support audits and regulatory compliance related to SEC projects.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 1215 years of total experience in electrical power projects.
- At least 57 years of hands-on experience in SEC power projects, with a strong focus on CPC connections and power upgrade works.
- Proven exposure to LV/MV networks, substations, load calculations, and energization activities.
- Solid experience working directly with SEC processes, approvals, standards, and inspections.
- Experience in telecom, infrastructure, or utility-related projects.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification (preferred).
- Familiarity with contractor management, cost control, invoices, variations, and financial tracking.
