This dynamic PMO / VMO role is pivotal in driving efficient project execution, stringent governance, and tangible value realization across the organization by managing critical projects, including special initiatives from the CEO, meticulously maintaining project documentation and KPIs, and actively tracking benefits realization; the ideal candidate is a highly analytical professional with 5+ years in project or PMO/VMO roles, a track record of working with senior executives and CEOs, and a highly desirable background from a top consulting firm like PWC or KPMG.
PMO Responsibilities- Manage projects or initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, stakeholder engagement, and alignment with organizational goals. Maintain project and program dashboards, reports, and KPIs
- Handle special projects initiated by the CEO
- Draft project management documents (e.g., project charters, Gantt charts, progress reports, etc.)
- Ensure adherence to PMO standards, templates, and governance processes
- Track risks, issues, dependencies, and escalation paths
- Support resource planning, scheduling, and project performance monitoring
- Assist with post-project reviews and lessons-learned documentation
- Assist with drafting and updating processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Assist in cost control initiatives to optimize budgets
- Support cross-functional collaboration to implement project improvements and process enhancements
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within PMO / VMO workflows
- Take accurate and structured Minutes of Meeting (MoM) during leadership, cross-functional, and operational meetings
- Capture key discussions, decisions, action items, owners, and deadlines
- Ensure MoMs are clear, concise, and aligned with meeting objectives
- Circulate MoMs to stakeholders in a timely manner
- Track follow-ups and ensure accountability on agreed actions
- Serve as the tool administrator for the project management system, including configuration, user management, and ensuring proper usage across teams
- Support planning, tracking, and reporting of company-wide and departmental OKRs
- Ensure projects and initiatives are aligned with defined OKRs and strategic priorities
- Track OKR progress, identify deviations, and escalate risks impacting OKR achievement
- Support leadership and teams during OKR review cycles by providing visibility on progress, blockers, and corrective actions
VMO / Value Management Responsibilities- Track benefits realization and value delivered from business initiatives
- Track KPIs, identify deviations, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions in coordination with Heads of Departments
- Identify gaps or risks to value delivery and suggest corrective actions
- Consolidate portfolio-level reports and insights for leadership
- Support with planning and tracking company-wide OKRs to ensure alignment with strategic objectives
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within PMO / VMO workflows
Skills & Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, IT, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in project management, or PMO/VMO roles
- Demonstrated experience working with senior executives and CEOs
- Prior experience in a consulting firm (e.g., PWC, KPMG) is a must
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid)
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Google Slides), with familiarity in PMO tools (MS Project, Jira)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
