Job Description
- Manage and lead all aspects of the assigned to small to medium project operations (including resourcing, formal project controls, quality assurance and contractual requirements) in order to ensure that projects are managed in line with Takamol/Affiliates standards and delivered on-time/on-budget and as per the project case
- Manage and coordinate the project mobilisation activities, lead the development of the project initiation document, project scope, deliverables, project and resource plans in order to successfully initiate the project and facilitate project progress monitoring in later phases
- Identify risk areas and immediate/structural obstacles impeding successful project implementation in order to minimise risk, take corrective actions/escalate wherever required and ensure successful project implementation
- Manage and review the design and implementation of formal project controls and other quality assurances activities in order to ensure adherence to Takamol/Affiliates standards, risk minimisation and efficiency
- Assist in identifying key lessons from past/on-going projects and translate insights into improvement recommendations in order to provide input into the development of business cases/plans and ensure project integrity and direction
- Cooperate closely with stakeholders and project sponsors and manage the development of communication plans in order to ensure that information is shared and stakeholder engagement facilitated
- Identify training and development needs to support the professional development of direct reports, in particular regarding best-in-class project management practices
- Perform any other duties as required by the direct manager
Job Requirements
University degree in Project Management, Business Studies or a similar field or proven experience in a similar role
Minimum Experience
6 years of experience in Project Management.
