Position Objective
- The Voice Core Senior Project Manager will support the Program Manager in delivering high-quality consultancy services, ensuring control over the quality and quantity of work performed.
- The role is responsible for end-to-end implementation of Voice & Core control nodes, overseeing task fulfillment, and managing all Core-related consultancy activities within the program.
Job Description & Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Voice Core projects, ensuring alignment with defined scope, timelines, and quality standards.
- Align with the Program Manager on delivery targets, KPIs, and overall program objectives.
- Manage consultancy services, ensuring quality and productivity of deliverables, while guiding and supervising the team.
- Define objectives and execution priorities for Core rollout in line with client requirements and project scope.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring proper procedures are in place for timely and high-quality execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks, and proactively address issues to meet key milestones.
- Ensure all Core-related dependencies are resolved in line with the overall project plan.
- Oversee Core rollout delivery, optimization, and resolution of acceptance issues across all portfolios and sectors.
- Identify and escalate risks to program delivery, proposing mitigation strategies and corrective actions.
- Coordinate activities across stakeholders, departments, vendors, and contractors to ensure seamless execution.
- Supervise completed work and validate outputs against project plans and quality guidelines.
- Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and timely submission of deliverables to the client in required formats.
- Establish mechanisms to track, review, and resolve project issues, ensuring timely closure of blocking points.
- Conduct regular progress review meetings with internal teams, vendors, and key stakeholders.
- Continuously review project requirements, organizational needs, and resource allocation, providing recommendations as needed.
- Define and ensure adherence to the Responsibility Matrix (RACI) across all stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, including at least 5 years in leadership roles managing large-scale Core Network projects.
- Proven experience managing Core and EPC engineering and/or consultancy teams from requirements definition to final design delivery.
- Strong expertise in end-to-end Core network environments, including Multi-Operator Core Networks (MOCN).
- Extensive experience in project execution management, including planning, budgeting, quality control, and risk management.
- In-depth knowledge of telecom technologies including IoT, LTE, 4G, 3G, 2G, WLAN, Mobile IP, and web-based service platforms.
- Demonstrated experience in Core and EPC engineering design, optimization, and KPI performance management.
- Valid Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) with strong knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in executive reporting, dashboards, and performance tracking.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
