Job Summary:
Preparing and managing comprehensive technical and financial proposals in response to client requirements and tender specifications. This role ensures all proposals are technically compliant, commercially competitive, and aligned with company capabilities by collaborating with internal teams and external partners throughout the proposal lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze tender documents, RFPs, and bid specifications to identify all technical, commercial, and compliance requirements.
- Study project scope and client requirements to prepare tailored technical and financial proposals.
- Coordinate with the technical team to develop accurate and compliant technical submissions, covering all project phases from initial concept to implementation.
- Incorporate technical feedback and required adjustments before finalizing submissions.
- Participate in preparing detailed cost estimates (materials, labor, equipment, subcontracting, overheads, profit margins) in coordination with the Proposals Manager/Department Head.
- Obtain quotations and offers from subcontractors and subconsultants for specialized works.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather inputs required for accurate proposal costing.
- Ensure pricing is aligned with client expectations and internal profitability targets.
- Participate in proposal review meetings with the Business Development Manager and clients.
- Incorporate client feedback, revised scopes, or updates into proposals.
- Coordinate with external partners in joint ventures to consolidate technical and commercial elements.
- Ensure on-time submission of high-quality, fully compliant proposals.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- Communication, time management, and emotional intelligence
- Flexibility, and problem-solving skills
- Technical proposal writing
- Attention to details
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel- PowerPoint)
