Job Description

Job Summary:

The Senior Public Relations Managers will lead the public relations activities for O West, Makadi, and Byoum by developing and executing effective PR strategies that enhance destination visibility, reputation, and brand positioning. The role drives media engagement, ensures consistent communication across the destinations, and manages crisis communication when required.

Job Responsibilities:

PR Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement annual PR plans and campaigns for the assigned destinations to strengthen market presence and brand perception.
  • Identify and manage PR opportunities, sponsorships, and partnerships to expand destination reach and enhance public image.
  • Prepare and control the PR budget to ensure cost efficiency and maximize return on communication investment.
  • Monitor market and media trends to identify opportunities and risks, enabling proactive communication decisions.

Media Relations & Communication Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media, influencers, and communication partners to secure consistent and positive coverage.
  • Oversee the preparation and distribution of press releases, media kits, and key messages ensuring alignment with corporate guidelines.
  • Lead PR agencies management and act as the main destination contact for all related communication.
  • Plan and supervise press conferences, interviews, and media events to ensure professional representation of the destinations.

Crisis & Brand Reputation Management

  • Manage communication during media crises or sensitive public issues, ensuring accurate and timely messaging.
  • Evaluate PR campaign results through media monitoring and performance reports to measure impact and recommend improvements.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • 8-10 years of experience in PR and corporate communications, including at least 3 years in a managerial role within real estate, hospitality, or consumer industries.
  • Skilled in PR planning, media relations, crisis management, and brand communication.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in Arabic and English.
