Position Overview
We are looking for Rockstar, Spirited, Outgoing and energetic
PR Senior Executive, who will play a key role in supporting and executing the festival's public relations strategy across media, press, and talent communications. The Senior Executive will serve as a liaison between the media department, talent reps, and internal departments, helping to coordinate press opportunities, draft communications materials, and ensure the festival's image is consistently represented across all platforms.
This is a dynamic, fast-paced role that requires strong communication skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple deadlines under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
Media Relations & Press Coordination:
- Assist in implementing the festival's PR and media strategy.
- Assist in building and maintaining strong relationships with local, regional, and international media outlets in collaboration with the festival's press office.
- Coordinate press opportunities and interview schedules for festival core team, filmmakers and CineGouna talents.
- Support accreditation processing for media & PR partners.
- Assist in managing media inquiries before and during the festival in collaboration with the PR Agencies.
- Provide on-ground support in the press conference, red carpet events, press junkets, and photo calls.
Communication & Content
- Draft content in Arabic & English (ex. press releases, media alerts, and Press kits) in alignment with the festival's voice and key messaging.
- Support the development of newsletters and festival announcements.
- Prepare briefing documents in collaboration with the press office.
- Work closely with the press and marketing teams to ensure PR messaging aligns with overall communication plans.
Talent & Guest Liaison
- Assist in managing public appearances, press briefings, and interview logistics for key guests and public figures.
- Coordinate with Guest Relations and Hospitality teams to ensure smooth talent movement and readiness for media days and media engagements.
On-Site Festival Support
- Act as a key on-site PR team member, ensuring real-time communication and issue management with press and guests.
- Support in planning press events and media days.
- Following up with the PR Agency on tracking media coverage, daily summaries and reports when needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 35 years of experience in PR, communications, media relations, or talent liaison rolesideally within entertainment, culture, or events.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic.
- Excellent organizational skills, high attention to details and the ability to multitask under pressure.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills; comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Professional presence and confidence in working with high-profile guests, media, and internal stakeholders.
- Comfortable working long hours during the festival period, including evenings and weekends.
- Proficient in Google Suite and media monitoring tools; experience with PR management platforms is a plus.
- A team player with a proactive attitude and a passion for the film and culture sector.
