As a Senior Purchasing Specialist, you will play a key role in driving our purchasing strategy end-to-end. From supplier collaboration and inventory planning to market trend analysis and category development, you'll ensure the right products are available at the right time and at the right cost.
You'll work cross-functionally with logistics, warehouse, marketing, and category teams to deliver seamless procurement operations while maintaining optimal stock levels and supporting business growth.
What You'll Be Doing:
Purchasing & Order Management
- Create, manage, and optimize purchase orders with precise quantities, specifications, and timelines
- Track orders and shipments, proactively resolving delays, quality issues, or discrepancies
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth procurement flows
Inventory Control & Stock Management
- Partner with warehouse and purchasing teams to maintain optimal stock levels
- Forecast demand using historical data, market trends, and promotional activity
- Conduct inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify risks early
Product Selection & Catalog Management
- Support product selection and assortment planning aligned with market trends and consumer preferences
- Collaborate with marketing to ensure accurate product listings, pricing, imagery, and availability
- Provide strategic input to category assortment and brand positioning
Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination
- Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure cost-effective and timely deliveries
- Monitor shipping timelines and oversee smooth product clearance
- Resolve logistics challenges including delays, damages, or shipment discrepancies
Vendor Performance & Reporting
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, lead times, and responsiveness
- Prepare reports on purchasing activity, inventory health, and product performance
- Recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and supplier reliability
Market Research & Trend Analysis
- Stay ahead of market trends, new ingredients, technologies, and consumer behaviors
- Monitor competitors and adjust procurement strategies accordingly
- Identify and introduce new products and brands that align with customer demand
What You Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Minimum 4 years experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management
- Experience in the Beauty & Cosmetics industry is highly preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Solid understanding of procurement processes, inventory control, and vendor management
- Experience in product selection, catalog management, and market analysis
- Highly organized, proactive, and customer-focused
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
