We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join our client's Airport Services technology team, supporting the Sprint DCS (Departure Control System) Enhancements programme for 2026. The successful candidate will own end-to-end quality assurance for DCS platform changes from requirements analysis and test strategy through to automated regression and API validation ensuring that every release meets the highest standards of reliability and performance in a live airport environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute end-to-end testing across Airport Services / DCS enhancement features.
- Perform requirements analysis and translate them into test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Conduct system, integration, regression, and smoke testing for sprint releases.
- Ensure coverage across airport applications, workflows, and message-based integrations.
- Design, develop, and maintain test automation suites using Robot Framework.
- Build reusable automation components and improve automation scalability and maintainability.
- Develop and execute API automation for REST/SOAP services using tools and/or custom libraries where needed.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines where applicable and produce actionable reporting.
- Validate API behaviors, payloads, contracts, and error handling using Postman and SOAP UI.
- Perform backend validation using SQL/PL/SQL against relational databases.
- Verify end-to-end flows across services, databases, and message interfaces (airport messages / integration messages).
- Work closely with product owners, business analysts, developers, and release teams during sprint cycles.
- Log, triage, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
- Provide daily status, test progress, risk/issue visibility, and quality metrics.
- Drive continuous improvement in QA practices, standards, and automation approach.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of QA experience with a mix of functional + automation testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with Robot Framework (automation on Robot framework).
- Strong API testing & API automation experience.
- Solid experience with Postman and SOAP UI.
- Strong SQL/PL/SQL and database validation experience (data integrity, reconciliation, backend checks).
- Proven capability in end-to-end testing, test case design, and sprint-based delivery testing.
- QA experience in Airline domain, especially Airline PSS and Airport Services / Airports LOB.
- Exposure to DCS, airport operational workflows, and airport applications/messages.
