We're hiring a Senior QA Engineer as part of an Emiratisation initiative to help build and assure the quality of next-generation AI-powered products . This is a hands-on role for someone who cares about reliability, performance, and security, and who enjoys working closely with Product, Engineering, and DevOps in a fast-moving environment.
What you'll be doing
- Own test planning and execution across APIs, UI, and automation pipelines (functional, regression, performance, security).
- Build and maintain automated test suites to improve coverage and speed (API + UI).
- Validate API performance, reliability, and correctness and ensure UI experiences are smooth and consistent.
- Partner with engineers and data/ML teams to support AI model testing and validation in real-world scenarios.
- Identify, document, and track defects; drive fast reproduction and resolution with engineering teams.
- Improve QA practices, tooling, and release readiness across the SDLC.
- Support security and compliance testing aligned to privacy and regulatory expectations.
What we're looking for
- (Emiratisation role).
- 6+ years in QA, with strong experience testing software products including APIs and UIs.
- Strong automation experience using tools like Selenium, Cypress, pytest, JUnit (or similar).
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies: functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Comfortable scripting in Python or JavaScript for automation and test data management.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative product environment.
Nice to have
- API testing tools: Postman, SoapUI.
- Performance testing: JMeter, LoadRunner, k6.
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP).
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Test management tools: Jira, TestRail.
- QA certification (e.g., ISTQB).
