MDLBEAST is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the delivery of high-quality software through comprehensive testing strategies. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong analytical skills to identify potential issues before they reach production. As a QA engineer, you will play a significant role in maintaining the quality and stability of our ticketing platform and products, catering to the variety of music festivals in the region.
Tasks
- Design and implement comprehensive test plans and test cases that cover core functionality, edge cases, and potential failure scenarios.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Execute end-to-end (E2E) testing to validate complete user workflows and system integration.
- Create and run API tests to ensure backend services meet specifications and performance requirements.
- Conduct load testing to verify system performance under various conditions.
- Collaborate with developers to investigate and document bugs.
- Participate in sprint planning to provide QA perspective early.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong programming skills and experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Playwright).
- Proficiency in writing and executing API tests (Postman, JMeter, Blazemeter).
- Experience with load testing tools and performance analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and systematic approach to testing.
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
Nice to have
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with mobile application testing.
- QA experience with microservices architecture backend and multiple frontend applications
