Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise inspection and testing activities across all production stages.
  • Review daily inspection reports, analyze deviations using statistical tools, and identify root causes of non-conformities.
  • Implement and follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to ensure effectiveness.
  • Ensure calibration validity and readiness of measuring and testing instruments.
  • Coordinate closely with Production, Maintenance, and Laboratory teams to maintain process stability.
  • Develop and update inspection procedures and work instructions in line with product/process changes.
  • Prepare and present periodic quality reports (SPC, Pareto Analysis, Trend Analysis, NCRs) with technical recommendations.
  • Manage non-conforming products (segregation, rework, return, or scrap) with proper documentation.
  • Train and guide quality inspectors and technicians.
  • Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with QMS requirements.
  • Support supplier quality evaluation when required.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Production, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 35 years of solid experience in Quality Control within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong hands-on in-process quality control experience on production lines.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 systems.
  • Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis and Quality Tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, Pareto, SPC).
  • Experience working within Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality reporting tools.
  • Good command of English (spoken and written).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in glass manufacturing is a plus.
