Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise inspection and testing activities across all production stages.
- Review daily inspection reports, analyze deviations using statistical tools, and identify root causes of non-conformities.
- Implement and follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to ensure effectiveness.
- Ensure calibration validity and readiness of measuring and testing instruments.
- Coordinate closely with Production, Maintenance, and Laboratory teams to maintain process stability.
- Develop and update inspection procedures and work instructions in line with product/process changes.
- Prepare and present periodic quality reports (SPC, Pareto Analysis, Trend Analysis, NCRs) with technical recommendations.
- Manage non-conforming products (segregation, rework, return, or scrap) with proper documentation.
- Train and guide quality inspectors and technicians.
- Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with QMS requirements.
- Support supplier quality evaluation when required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Production, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 35 years of solid experience in Quality Control within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong hands-on in-process quality control experience on production lines.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 systems.
- Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis and Quality Tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, Pareto, SPC).
- Experience working within Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality reporting tools.
- Good command of English (spoken and written).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
- Experience in glass manufacturing is a plus.
