JOB PURPOSE
Assist the Project Quality Manager in the implementation and maintenance of the project Quality Management System
Roles & Responsibilities
- Start up Receive & review the project documents (specifications, drawings, BOQ's)
- Participate in the preparation of the project's Quality Documents (PQP, QMP's and ITP's, WPS's, PQR's etc.) including the quality forms that will be used along the project period
- Manage concrete trial mixes with vendor and client
- Manage Testing of primary materials (Rebar, CMU) for source approval
- Execution Manage and perform Material Inspection upon receiving at site (MIR's)
- Conduct random inspection on site activities and raise NCR alerts in case of defects/noncompliance.
- Identifying, eliminating, managing risks related to poor quality via NC alerts through daily site surveillance
- Issue of Non-Conformance Reports (NCR's) and the necessary follow-up of Corrections and Corrective actions.
- Perform 2nd Party audits on suppliers/Manufacturers.
- Managing testing agencies and 3rd parties within the project area
- Close out Participate in assuring that all live quality documents (IR's, MIR's, NCR's and test reports) are complete, scanned and filed in a manner matching the requirements of the contract or as per agreed with the client
- Participate in assuring that all external/internal NCR's are closed
- Managing the issuance and closure of punch lists till acquiring the Taking over certificates (partial and final)
- Participate in the preparation of the project Quality close out report.
MINIMUN QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS
Education/ Qualifications
BSC of Engineering Mechanical or Electrical
Professional Certification
Lead Auditor/Internal Auditor certificates is must
Work Experience
5-8 years of experience in the Quality Field for Construction, Building, LRT, Industrial and infrastructure projects.
Language
Good command of English language
Computer Skills
