Senior Quantity Surveyor

Educational Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering

* Quantity Surveying / Construction Management (added advantage)

Technical & Professional Skills & Experience

* Experience: 10+ years as a Quantity Surveyor with strong UAE project exposure

* Extensive experience in pre-contract and post-contract quantity surveying

* Expertise in BOQ preparation, measurement, and detailed quantity take-offs

* Strong capability in contract administration, variations, claims, and final accounts

* Proven experience in cost planning, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and cost control

* Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, contract conditions, and UAE construction practices

* Experience in subcontractor management, payment certification, and commercial negotiations

* Ability to manage cost-to-complete, value engineering, and commercial risk mitigation

* Skilled in reviewing tender documents, drawings, and specifications

* Strong coordination with project management, estimation, procurement, cost control, and finance teams

Preferred Certifications (Strong Advantage)

* RICS (MRICS / AssocRICS)

* Certified Quantity Surveyor (CQS) or equivalent

* PMP (added advantage)

* Advanced certifications in contracts, claims, or commercial management

Software & Tools

* MS Excel (advanced level)

* AutoCAD (measurement & take-offs)

* Quantity surveying / cost management software (CostX, PlanSwift, or similar)

* ERP systems (preferred)

Reporting

* Monthly project cost and budget vs actual reports

* Variations, claims, and final account status reports

* Subcontractor payment certifications

* Cash flow forecasts and cost-to-complete reports

* Commercial risk and value engineering reports
