Roles and responsibilities:
- Maintaining logs for variations, Instructions, RFI's, PA, PC, etc.
- Take off quantities and preparation of scope wise packages
- Review and comment the draft contracts received from clients
- Sub contractor's agreement to be reviewed and modified as per the scope and in conjunction to our main contract
- Sub con billing: Cross checking at site, evaluation, certification
- Preparation of interim payment applications
- Attending meetings with main contractor, client, etc.
- Comparison of IFT & IFC drawings, report and raise variation claim for the changes if any.
- Preparation of EOT claims
- Preparation of CTC and statement of final account
- Timely alert to operation team about critical issues like, de-scope, long lead items, cashflow related issues
Must have skills:
- 5+ years of relevant exp. in UAE as a QS in a Interior Fit out company
- Proven experience in:
- Taking off quantities from the Tender Drawings for tenders.
- Preparation of project specific bill of quantities.
- Preparation of interim and final claim.
- Preparation of valuating variations.
- Checking subcontractors variations, additional works etc.
- Checking sub-contractors invoices.
