JASARA PMC is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our professional team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all quantity surveying duties to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. You will work closely with project teams to provide accurate financial data, cost control, and contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage accurate cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation
- Conduct cost control and budget management throughout the project duration
- Negotiate contracts and manage variations, claims, and disputes as they arise
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
- Carry out site visits to monitor progress and evaluate work against agreed cost and quality standards
- Guide and mentor junior quantity surveyors, fostering their professional development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant quantity surveying experience. For Saudi, minimum 5-7 years
- Professional qualification or membership (e.g., MRICS) preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods, and cost control
- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
- Proficiency with quantity surveying and project management software
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with diverse stakeholders
