Gleeds in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has an exciting opportunity supporting the development of a historic region in Saudi Arabia. We are seeking MRICS qualified Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management professionals, who want to develop their career in a personable and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Delivering pre and post contract quantity surveying services
  • Positively engaging with Clients and developing, growing and maintaining Client relationships.
  • Delivering high quality services and ensuring that cost management deliverables meet Clients requirements.
  • Preparing tender documentation and managing the tender process, including designing tender marking schemes.
  • Cost planning and cost estimating
  • Valuing completed work and arranging for payments.
  • Providing senior technical advice on legal and contractual issues relating to construction projects.
  • Administrating contracts as Contract Administrator or Employer's Agent.
  • Producing and presenting reports to Clients.
  • Advising Directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or that might arise, on projects

Who we're looking for:

Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills

  • MRICS Chartered
  • 10+ years post graduate demonstrable experience in all aspects of quantity surveying
  • 3+ years experience in Saudi Arabia
  • 3+ years experience with a consultancy organization
  • Experience of building projects, high specification offices, mixed use
  • Sound knowledge and practical experience of pre and post contract commercial management.
  • Practical knowledge of construction procurement strategies, including tendering and contract strategies.
  • Clear and effective communication skills - both oral and written
  • Ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements readily
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Arabic language skills

Qualifications

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying
  • MRICS or equivalent chartered status
  • Native English level written and oral skills
  • Arabic desirable
  • Transferable Iqama
