Gleeds in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has an exciting opportunity supporting the development of a historic region in Saudi Arabia. We are seeking MRICS qualified Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management professionals, who want to develop their career in a personable and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Delivering pre and post contract quantity surveying services
- Positively engaging with Clients and developing, growing and maintaining Client relationships.
- Delivering high quality services and ensuring that cost management deliverables meet Clients requirements.
- Preparing tender documentation and managing the tender process, including designing tender marking schemes.
- Cost planning and cost estimating
- Valuing completed work and arranging for payments.
- Providing senior technical advice on legal and contractual issues relating to construction projects.
- Administrating contracts as Contract Administrator or Employer's Agent.
- Producing and presenting reports to Clients.
- Advising Directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or that might arise, on projects
Who we're looking for:
Experience, Knowledge and Key Skills
- MRICS Chartered
- 10+ years post graduate demonstrable experience in all aspects of quantity surveying
- 3+ years experience in Saudi Arabia
- 3+ years experience with a consultancy organization
- Experience of building projects, high specification offices, mixed use
- Sound knowledge and practical experience of pre and post contract commercial management.
- Practical knowledge of construction procurement strategies, including tendering and contract strategies.
- Clear and effective communication skills - both oral and written
- Ability to absorb complex information and assess requirements readily
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Arabic language skills
Qualifications
- Degree in Quantity Surveying
- MRICS or equivalent chartered status
- Native English level written and oral skills
- Arabic desirable
- Transferable Iqama
